The Movement for Palestine and the Struggle for Black Lives: Anti-Apartheid, Anti-Colonial Perspectives on BDS
The U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (USACBI) will hold the second session of its summer webinar series on Palestine and BDS in the age of COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 am Pacific/1:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Palestine time.
Confirmed speakers are Ghada Karmi (Palestinian doctor, author, activist and academic; Honorary Research Fellow and lecturer, the Institute of Arab & Islamic Studies at University of Exeter) and Kristian Davis Bailey (co-founder of Black for Palestine). Mohammed Nabulsi (organizer with the Palestinian Youth Movement) will serve as Discussant.
USACBI Organizing Collective member Terri Ginsberg (Assistant Professor of Film, The American University of Cairo) will again facilitate the webinar.
