We call on supporters of the arts and social justice community to stand with us and oppose Israeli apartheid by our Pittsburgh cultural institutions. Bricolage Production Company is partnering with the Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of Cultural Affairs, Consulate General of New York sponsored Hanut31 Theater in the world premier of Larger Than Life: Frankenstein & Karate man Patrick Kim. These performances support the Israeli government in implementing its systemic “Brand Israel” strategy of employing arts and culture to divert attention from the state’s decades of war crimes against the Palestinian people including violent colonization of their lands; a brutal military occupation consisting of checkpoints, home demolitions, and thousands of Palestinians imprisoned, tortured, and executed; and denial of Palestinian refugees’ right of return to their homeland after being forcibly displaced.
Organized by the Pittsburgh Palestine Solidarity Committee, ANSWER Pittsburgh and he Green Party of Allegheny County
