On October 14 2015, Academics for Palestine – Ireland and the Irish School of Ecumenics, which is based in Trinity College Dublin, will co-host “Academic Voices from Palestine: Education under Occupation”, a one-day event which will bring speakers from Al Quds Open University and Al Azhar University, both in Gaza, and from Trinity College Dublin and from the National Union of Students in the United Kingdom, together to discuss the difficulties of conducting education under conditions of occupation and siege. Academics for Palestine – Ireland is one of the global boycott campaigns with which USACBI coordinates.

This symposium will take place in the JM Synge Theatre, in the Arts Building of TCD, between 7.30pm and 9pm, on October 14, 2015. Attendance is free.
