La Peña Cultural Center, together with Jewish Voice for Peace- Bay Area, present a journal launch, music and fundraiser featuring contributors to Life in Occupied Palestine: A Special Biography Issue: Sarah Ihmoud (Dept. of Anthropology, U. Texas at Austine), Magid Shihade (Faculty member at Birzeit University, Palestine), and Cynthia Franklin (Biography co-editor, U of Hawai’i faculty member, and USACBI Organizing Collective member and co-founder of Jewish Voice for Peace – Hawai’i).

$10-20 suggested donation at the door, no one turned away for lack of funds.
