WHERE: Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South – Assembly Hall, New York City
Scheduled speakers are:
David Swanson (RootsAction), journalist and author of War No More: The Case for Abolition (2013) and The Military Industrial Complex at 50 (2012), will discuss the development and deployment of drones and other military robotics and the dangers they pose to peace, security and civilian safety worldwide, drawing connections to the Israeli armaments industry and its ties to The Technion.
Fahd Ahmed (Desis Rising Up and Moving – DRUM), Legal and Policy Director running DRUM’s End Racial Profiling Campaign, will discuss the police tracking and profiling of South Asian, Arab and Muslim communities in NYC and beyond, practices that have involved collaboration with Israeli corporations involved in surveillance technology development.
