Dear Friends,
Thanks for participating in the action alert to ask Rod Stewart to cancel his Tel Aviv concert last week. Unfortunately, Mr. Stewart did eventually perform in Israel, but only after hearing from thousands of people around the world. Thanks for taking the time to be part of this growing movement.
Please take a look at the scorecard on the left. Together, we’re going to try to influence as many artists as possible to cancel their concerts in Israel. Please continue to participate in future alerts. When we respond en masse, it’s impossible for them to ignore us.
The movement of cultural boycott of Israel has seen unprecedented growth over the past 18 months. More and more artists are now refusing to perform in Israel or cancelling concerts which were planned. This is true of Gil Scott Heron, Santana, The Pixies, The Klaxons, Gorillaz Sound System, and most prominently, Elvis Costello.
