Dear Ms. Dionne Warwick,

In 1980s, you violated the international boycott against apartheid South Africa by playing a concert at the Sun City casino resort. It is distressing to see that on May 19, 2015, you are planning to break the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions against another apartheid regime: Israel.

When artists perform in apartheid Israel, they legitimize seven decades of Zionist racism, ethnic cleansing, occupation, and systemic oppression of the indigenous Palestinian population.

We call on you to join the growing list of artists of conscience who say “No” to whitewashing Israel”s crimes and cancel your upcoming concert in Tel Aviv.

This time, be on the right side of history: “Walk on By” apartheid Israel!
